QUOTES

Lowering your expectations will make it easier to handle little things that don't go your way. Simply don't expect everything to go right all the time.

Making plans is one of the best ways to get what you want, but freaking out if they don't come off perfectly will detract from your happiness.

Don't expect other people to do what you would do or think like you do, because that's asking for frustration. Live in a constant state of flexibility, and marvel at your ability to remain calm when everyone else is having a bird.

To hope things to happen though their liklihood is low is to attract disappointment. When proper preparations have been made, and things still don't go as planned, you'll know that your preparations were inadequate or the outcome simply wasn't meant to be.

Know that each and every failure and disappointment in life was supposed to happen, and these apparent negatives have spun your life toward things that you could not have conceived of and you learned something.

Yes, make your plans and prepare with the highest quality. In fact, do everything with the highest quality possible, expecting nothing, but knowing your desired goal is a possibility. If after your final preparations, you think of something else that might help you get what you want, do it. Start over if you have to.

If you are looking to get by with as little work as possible, your results will reflect that and there should be no surprise if things don't go your way. Over prepare, and expect nothing--you'll be pleasantly surprised when things do go your way. Try it!
