Good Health Habits
Check out these good health habits: First of all, don’t overeat. Work out five times a week for at least twenty minutes (anything that breaks a sweat). For each meal, eat no more than the prescribed amount from each food group. Four to six ounces of lean protein, ½ cup of high-fiber grains or a couple slices of whole grain bread, unlimited fresh vegetables (no, mashed potatoes loaded with butter and cream are not unlimited. Think man!), and 1 piece or 1/2 cup of fresh fruit.
Don’t eat fried food, snacks from a bag, or sweets except maybe once a week. If you do eat sweets or snacks, make it the good stuff. No fat free, sugar free crap (unless you’re diabetic). Just eat your cheesecake or whatever and be done with it (this will keep you from feeling deprived and downing a whole wedding cake later on).
Don’t eat between meals. Drink lots of water. Heeeey, this is starting to sound like… MODERATION! No, it’s the Tuff Luv diet. There you have it. How to be healthy in A couple paragraphs.
By the way, you certainly don’t have to work out or eat healthy in order to be happy. Nor do you have to be thin. If you think eating lean meats, fruits, vegetables and whole grains plus working out is stupid, (whispering) don’t do it. Hey, before starting this or any diet or exercise program, consult your physician. Sound official enough?
