Love Is...Love is the hidden connection to all other things and beings emerging from the din of everyday life.
Love. What is it? How can it be described? There is physical love, spiritual love, family love, romantic love, or are they all just part of one big thing called love? All things spiritual and physical, seen and unseen, are connected interminably to the Source--God--consciousness--The One, whatever you want to call it. Love is the manifestation of that connection, the acknowledgment of the connection expressed in thought and deed and is the closest most humans will ever come to enlightenment or spirituality while still in human form. Most humans are caught up in the din of physical life, too busy thinking and doing to recognize the fact that as humans, though physically separate, they are spiritually all part of the same Source. To feel separate from others is born of the ego. To feel connected to others is born of the spirit, of the collective consciousness, of the God that all humans are a part of. To walk into a church service may or may not be spiritual, but to recognize a complete stranger as a part of yourself is. To express the connectedness of yourself to all things seen and unseen, to humans, animals, trees, rocks, to acknowledge that connectedness physically or mentally is to be closer to spirit than to human. It is to be closer to the Source, it is to experience and project the God that is within you and is our definition of love. By the way, the people closest to you, friends, family, that you love or at least you think you love, deserve this finest gift that you can bestow--UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. No matter what they do or don't do, things that don't meet your expectations of them, always remember the words unconditional love. That will help you to see through their failing to live up to your expectations. Who are you to place judgment and expectations on people anyway? They are who they are just as you are who you are. Any flaw you notice in others--you have showed the same at some point in your life. So to love and forgive others unconditionally is not only a gift for them, but for you too, as it will be easier to love and forgive yourself.
